Our Grand-Café & Restaurant Esplanade welcomes you with traditional architecture from 1940 combined with the modernity and comfort of today. This makes the Esplanade the meeting place of the Salzkammergut. But we convince of course not only by our feel-good ambience,but above all by culinary sophistication. A rich offer of pastries, traditional delicacies and ice cream specialities in the café and fine classic Austrian cuisine in the restaurant. From Tafelspitz to Salzburger Nockerl to Kaiserschmarrn & Co. Prepared from the finest fresh ingredients, organic meat and natural products from our region.

The guest garden directly on the Traun River

In our beautiful guest garden, which is located close to the centre on the Traun River, we invite you to linger and enjoy.

Idyllically located on the banks of the Traun, far away from noise and traffic and yet close to the centre, our beautiful guest garden offers you a wonderful place to stay in spring, summer and autumn. Like an oasis of peace. For example, you can enjoy the imperial-royal ambience in the cafe or restaurant and then end your evening outdoors in our guest garden. We are quite sure: such a balmy summer evening outside on the Esplanade will remain in your memory for a long time.
