Family business since 1832. Founded in 1832 in Bad Ischl, the Zauner Café and Cake Shop has always been a traditional Austrian company serving a wide variety of top quality products. Our history is a story of sweet success. In the times of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy we were given the honor of being appointed to be “k.u.k. Hoflieferant” (“Imperial and Royal Purveyor to the Court”) and recently we were given permission to use the National Coat of Arms by the Republic of Austria, an award for excellence in business.
Our celebration cakes are delivered on the desired date in a refrigerated van by our specialist staff. Of course, you are also welcome to collect our cake creations directly from our factory.

On what occasions are celebration cakes made?
We create unique specialty cakes for every conceivable occasion: christening, wedding, birthday, anniversary, retirement or as a gift for a special occasion.
How is delivery carried out?
Depending on their size, our celebration cakes are packed on cake stands or in transport boxes. You can collect them directly from our factory (access by car possible) or they can be delivered to you by our specialist staff in our refrigerated van. Delivery is only possible within the Salzkammergut.
Which flavors can be chosen?
Truffle and chocolate creams and nut fillings are particularly popular. We are also happy to flavor fruit creams based on yoghurt or curd cheese, for example, according to your wishes. For multi-tier cakes, the filling and flavor can vary from tier to tier and can be freely selected in each case.
What numbers of people are possible?
Special and celebration cakes are suitable for groups of 10 or more with decoration. We are happy to manufacture special sizes for you. For large events, there is no upper limit to the number of people.
